Report: Alaska Paid for Palin Family Travel

As it turns out, Gov. Sarah Palin decided it was fine to charge the state of Alaska for her children to travel with her to events they clearly not invited too. Later on reports came out saying that the children were on official business. What official business could her children have? Th charges that were given to Alaska included the costs for the hotel and commercial flights for Palin's three daughters to watch their father in a snowmobile race, a trip to New York, at which the govenor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for a total of five days and four nights in a luxurious hotel. In totals Palin charged around $21,012 for her three daughters, in some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.Alaska law does not specifically address expenses for a governor's children but the law allows for payment of expenses for anyone conducting official state business.
I honestly do not believe that it was necessary for Palin to have the state of Alaska pay for her children's expenses. It was obvious that she just felt that she could get away with it. If you are interested in reading more on this article, please visit the fallowing link:

Start Anew

Feature film premieres for free on YouTube
Wayne Wang, filmmaker of 1993's "The Joy Luck Club" and 1995's "Smoke" has premiered his new movie "The Princess of Nebraska" on the video sharing site YouTube. People can watch the movie for free from the YouTube Screening Room, with was just recently launched as a channel for movies. Last moth Michael Moore released his documentary "Slacker Uprising" on the new YouTube channel. The rest of the article generally talks about the actual film "The Princess of Nebraska" but I think the fact that YouTube is now allowing for full length movies, is something of a much greater interest. Now viewers can watch movies, for free, with out any illegal activities involved. I think this is a great idea, and who knows, maybe they will start uploading movies from film festivals and other like things, that way many people can see them. Go Deep

'Goggles' try to prevent impulsive e-mails

Google has started this new program to stop people from sending drunken emails. Google will set up a little test session before you can email to see if your mind is in the right state. The test will require you to solve a few simple math problem in a short amount of time before sending the mail. If you are able to answer the questions right, then Google will think you are in the right state of mind to send the email. If you answer wrong, Google will not send the email. "To activate Goggles, Gmail users should click the "Settings" link at the top of a Gmail page, then go to the "Labs" section." Google thinks it is fine if you just need a little more help to control yourself. The program is called Goggles which is derived from the slang term "beer goggles."

In my opinion it is kind of ridicules, I mean I didn't know that many people actually got drunk and emailed. This is helpful I guess for those who can't control themselves.
